We always send out a gear list for each race, however, below is a typical list of offshore race gear, by no means exhaustive, it should give you some idea. We can assist in gear selection and provision from our supplier GILL Marine.

• Thermal base layer thick x1 (thermal trousers and thermal top)
• Thermal base layer thin x1 (thermal trousers and thermal top)
• Spray jacket or snug jacket x1
• Foul weather gear
• Sea boots
• Warm socks x 3 pairs
• Waterproof socks x 1
• Deck shoes
• Fleece top (and trousers) or mid layer x 1
• Sailing gloves
• Warm hat
• Sun hat
• Sailing knife (preferable one hand operated)
• Pocket torch (red light)
• Sleeping bag
• T-shirt x 2 (maybe provided by Global Yacht Racing as team kit)
• Shorts x 2 pair
• Sunglasses x 1 pair with retaining strap
